1 day workshop
This workshop is dealing with an
issue Neta is most curious about and busy with at the last year in her own
work. The workshop teaches the process of transforming a portrait (usually self,
or of someone we attached to) into embroidery discusses and deal with
its meanings through the stitches. The workshop contains a
short presentation of contemporary artists who uses this combination in their
work as well.
Some of her work with the portraitembroidery can be seen here
Materials- pencil, carbon paper,
cotton fabrics, vilt, embroidery tread, needles.
The workshops will take place at:
atelier Fiberfusing in Amstelveen, the Netherlands. The atelier is located 10km from Amsterdam and Schiphol Airport.
