Embroidery

I haven't uploaded any works from my stay in China yet. The embroidery work is coming along very slowly, so the first pieces were completed only a few days ago.
The first one started with a piece of embroidery I made before my trip. I sewed it on wrinkled muslin fabric. While sewing, more wrinkles were created, and then I embroidered parts of the background. I followed the wrinkles and kept embroidering all over the fabric folds, including the hidden corners, which made the process even slower. This technique emphasized the wrinkles and twisted the fabric into unique 3D shapes, which became increasingly more interesting to me.

The texture you've created is very inviting!
