Birds with Flowers

The birds are finally done, but just before introducing them I have an announcement to make: My dolls who for long time felt that my etsy store is too crowded for them with all the slippers shoes finally changed accommodation and got space of their own over here.

Now it's birds time:

Let me introduce the young bird

and the Lady bird

The lady bird comes with a rose

and the young bird comes with its own flower.

I am too tired now but will be back soon to tell more about them.

Remember my geranium, the one with the wilted flowers, and the new buds, it is now flowering ,
growing new leaves

and sending out new roots every day.

It is amazing for Geranium to grow up like that in a vase inside the house, without getting much daylight.

It is so beautiful, sometimes I feel as if it is trying to compete my cloth one, and laughing about my efforts of sculpturing its shape LOL.

In the other hand maybe it is just signing me new paths and directions that I should follow, in order to flower by myself and not getting wilted.
I hope so, as the date of my Maastricht exhibition getting closer I am becoming more and more excited, nervous and full of fears. I would better follow the flowering signs, and go back stitching.
This is the beginning of the new textile object I am stitching at the moment.
Any guess what it is going to be? I will let you know in a few days, promise!

My Geranium is now done, all the flowers and leaves are now stitched to the branches and the little branches to the main one.
Now I can't wait to see it hanged on the window it was planned for, in maastricht, this May.

Geranium,dolls and hearts

I love my geranium much more since I stitched the leaves, but being concentrated by it for so
long make me dream about it at night and wonder about cloth geranium matters all over the day.


Yesterday I had another funny conversation about the dolls hearts.
I read my 6-7 years old students what violletta wrote at my myspace blog - " I think a doll gets symbolically a heart as soon as someone begins to love her".
The girl who said last time that a doll get heart only when it is being done, very seriously said, that it could be, but she yet believes that only when a doll been done one can know whether he loves it .
There was other sophisticated answer by one of the boys who said that when a doll is done, it can drive to a store and buy a heart, it was really important for him to emphasize that it would drive, not walk.

Back home, there is geranium flowers to be done, do you think it is the same with plants?
Should I wait till it would be done and then ask one of my dolls drive to their famous hearts store and get one for my geranium?
I love my geranium but I will know for sure only when it would be done.
