The creatures

The two little creatures are now complete. As I told you in my last post, they were great fun to make. It has been so long since I last created something like this, but, as a matter of fact, such creatures were among the first items I made when I left my day job as a fashion designer. It was almost eight years ago, and my path since then has been complex. It is still difficult to me to answer people who ask what my occupation is, and the answer varies according to my mood or the situation. Today  doll-maker is OK.

You can find both of them Here

Creatures

Among the other projects I have been busy with lately, I have been slowly crocheting these two creatures. It was a while since I made something like this.
It is pure fun.

Two Grey Dogs

In one of my recent posts I wrote about the trial and error process I had been going through in order to figure out how I should crochet these dogs. After the custom dogs were complete, I had some time to play with the "leftovers", and that is how these two came into the world.

Both of them are listed in my Etsy store, here and here.

Finally, I can show you more of the custom-made little doll with two tiny dogs that I have been busy making during the last two weeks.
I will begin with the back.

The Evolution of a Dog

The little guy I showed last week are supposed to have two dogs, and using photos of them, I started crocheting the two tiny dogs. What at the beginning seemed to be an ordinary and simple task eventually became a long trial and error process which lasted more than two days, till I figured out how I should create those tiny creatures. I can't share the final results yet, but hope to do so soon.
