These are parts for new applique picture I am stitching. I made the sketch bellow, but changed many parts while cutting the socks pieces. The characters and furniture are all made by socks.

Background is made by Gal's old T shirts. I ironed them with interfacing and sewed with polyfill so they lost the old T-shirts look.

Now I just have to sit down and stitch the parts to the background, very cozy winter activity.
Oh and I couldn't resist trying on the new socks slippers, they are warming, comfy and funny, so I decided to list them at my etsy and dawanda stores.

Exploring a dog

While the new dog got acclimatized to the studio, some friends wanted to know him better

He is much bigger then some of them.

He wears weird garments,

but they must be explored too!

Weird smile was missing

This dog was waiting for long on my desk since I made his teeth it became more clear and I could finish it easily, a weird smile this what was missing.

He is sewn by cotton drill fabric and recycled socks.



He wears a grey socks pullover with a little socks dog applique, a mohair crocheted cardigan with unique socks buttons.

The face are made by stitched socks, painting and embroidery.

Scarf

I made new scarf, it is now listed at my etsy store.

And this is me, it was so cold here at the last few days, we are really not use to such a cold weather, new scarf was just in time.

Bookish creature

I began taking photos For printing!
Paul and Gonnie, the artists couple who invited me to exhibit at there in house gallery, suggested that I will make something with my photos for the exhibition. I thought it was a good idea, but should be practiced before, most of my photos are in Internet quality.
Printing is much different from taking photos for the Internet, suddenly I noticed so many things I didn't care about before.
After a week of trial and error, printing and throwing away, shooting, erasing and deleting, I collected the photos from the lab this evening and there was one successful. The colors came out just as I wanted them to be, so does the light, the books and the creature of course.

Blossom and a giant's visit

I sew new flowers to the house plants, but it is yet very winter, so they a are not on their full blossom yet, I hope they will as soon as the spring will come.

Now it is time to redesign the interior.

Put the books back on the shelves.

And rest.
